This template is a mini-infobox for bannered U.S. routes.
[edit] Parameters
- state
- the two-letter abbreviation of the state that the article route is located in. Only use for states that use a different shield than the default one (such as California).
- banner
- The type of bannered route. Options are:
- BUS: business
- BYP: bypass
- ALT: alternate
- CITY: city
- LOOP: loop
- SPUR: spur
- CONN: connector
- TEMP: temporary
- TRUCK: truck
- OPT: optional
- HIST: historic
- SUF: suffixed routes (not banners per se, but are in the same category)
- route
- The number of the parent U.S. highway.
- location
- The location of the route (e.g. the city a business route serves, that a bypass bypasses, and so on)
- active
- The year of commissioning and decommissioning, e.g. "1935-1944". If the route is still active, write it with a dash and nothing afterward (e.g. "1945- ").
