This template is a mini-infobox for bannered U.S. routes.

[edit] Parameters

state
the two-letter abbreviation of the state that the article route is located in. Only use for states that use a different shield than the default one (such as California).
banner
The type of bannered route. Options are:
  • BUS: business
  • BYP: bypass
  • ALT: alternate
  • CITY: city
  • LOOP: loop
  • SPUR: spur
  • CONN: connector
  • TEMP: temporary
  • TRUCK: truck
  • OPT: optional
  • HIST: historic
  • SUF: suffixed routes (not banners per se, but are in the same category)
route
The number of the parent U.S. highway.
location
The location of the route (e.g. the city a business route serves, that a bypass bypasses, and so on)
active
The year of commissioning and decommissioning, e.g. "1935-1944". If the route is still active, write it with a dash and nothing afterward (e.g. "1945- ").
