Usa River is a town around 23 kilometres in the east of the City of Arusha, the capital of the Arusha Region.It is about a 30 minutes drive from the city,there are a number of organisations owned by foreigners,Usa-river is said to be the fastest growing and a safe and quiet place for settlements

The Makumira University College (MUCO) is located there. It is the national university of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania.
