USA Bowl

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The USA Bowl is a bowl game in semi-pro football.

At the end of each season, the winner of the Mid Continental Football League Championship game has the option to travel to South Florida to compete in the USA Bowl against another semi-pro team who has won their league's championship game. The winning team is given the title of National Champions. However, this title is often disputed because the title is not official.[citation needed] The first USA Bowl was played in 2005.

The game has been typically held in the Miami Orange Bowl.

The Detroit Ravens of the Mid Continental Football League will play in the 2007 USA Bowl in Hollywood, Florida on January 19, 2008. They will play the Empire Football League Champions Vermont Ice Storm.
