[edit] USAF vs. USAFS

NAVSOURCE is inconsistent in the use of USAF or USAFS prefix, for instance here they use both in the same page, so is not what I'd call reliable. My original use of USAF as a prefix was based on a photo of the name on the stern of the one of the range ships where the word "ship" was not present after "U. S. Air Force", unlike "U.S. Army Ship" or "U. S. Naval Ship". Here is an example. Unfortunately Patrick AFB removed the page showing a "U.S. Air Force" labeled stern.

[edit] Origin of Photos

Photos that appear in this article are personal photos, taken by me, during the tour of duty of the USAS American Mariner. These photos, and others, were sent to NavSource, where they are currently displayed. To ensure that proper protocal in using some of these photos in Wikipedia,I requested authorization from NavSource to use the photos on this article.

I now have a page on Wikipedia for the American Mariner and would like to use some of my photos shown on NavSource for that article. Is this a problem? Can you send me an OK or "permission to use: or something like that so I can add that to the NavSource credits for those photos. Thanks. Ted Bojanowski DORNORI@YAHOO.COM
