SOUTHWEST ASIA (AFPN) -- SSgt Brian Bankowski launches a Force Protection Airborne Surveillance System, also known as the Desert Hawk, here July 23. Operators slingshot the unmanned aerial vehicle into the air with a 50-foot bungee cord. Sergeant Bankowski is assigned to the 380th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron here and deployed from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Lee Tucker)
