Us Two and Teas are an indie folk-blues duo from Tulsa, Oklahoma, comprising Jennifer Dayton and Abigail Zambrana. Both born into deeply religious families, the two met at Guts Church in 1998, while they both attended the children's service twice a week. The two girls formed the group in mid 2007, at the ages of 17 and 18, Zambrana being the eldest. Both performing vocals, and switching off between acoustic guitar, tambourine, harmonica, and congas, they have gone on to perform their music in such bookstores and cafes as Barnes and Noble, Borders, and Starbucks throughout the Tulsa metro area. The small musical group is best known for their random, and usually humorous lyrics. Many of their songs, however, have significantly dark themes, often referring to a history of self-mutilation, various forms of abuse, and mental breakdowns, though most, if not all, are performed and written to be outwardly satirical. They are now currently working on recording their first E.P., supposedly titled "Pove It".
