Weather map drawn by the Weather Bureau's Toledo observer and published in the Toledo Blade in Nov. 1913. Depicts the formation of the w:en:Great Lakes Storm of 1913. Unlike modern weather maps, these showed no warm/cold fronts, since frontal mechanisms were not yet understood, and isobars were located in part by eye and guess. On Wednesday, November 5th, the dominant feature is an area of high pressure centered over Ohio.
