[edit] Summary
Description |
Logo of the United States National Agricultural Library, part of the USDA's Agricultural Research Service. The logo was originally released on April 2, 2007 after being developed for a few years.
The icon is a graphic representation of an opened book, a tree, a flag, or of an agricultural field. It echoes some of the design of the USDA symbol. The official colors for the NAL symbol are dark purple and dark green, the same as the official colors for the USDA symbol.
For more information, see the press release.

Traced from Image:US-NationalAgriculturalLibrary-Logo.png by using Stanford's online Vector Magic service to convert to EPS, then doing some cleanup (removing background) and converting again to SVG (Vector Magic's direct SVG download was a larger-size file for some reason). The PNG in turn was extracted from en:Image:NALlogo.svg, originally uploaded on en-wiki on July 3, 2007 by en:User:Sgagnon, which is just an SVG wrapper around the PNG image. I was not able to find a true vector version on NAL's website.
