Urthona is a fictional character in the Marvel Universe.
Urthona is an extra-dimensional sorcerer from another planet. He sought to become Sorcerer Supreme of the entire universe, and targeted Doctor Strange. Urthona gained possession of half of Topaz's soul, which allowed him to use the other half to learn everything he could about Strange. He sent one of his champions to battle Strange while he was away from his Sanctum Sanctorum, and mystically transported the Sanctum to his planet, along with Wong and Topaz and all the mystical objects inside. Strange took on Rintrah as an apprentice, and took Urthona by surprise by travelling to his planet in a Skrull spacecraft. Strange, inhabiting Rintrah's body, battled Urthona, and destroyed all of his mystic talismans to keep Urthona from possessing them. Strange was not able to destroy the Darkhold, however, so Urthona fled with the book. Eventually, however, the Darkhold simply disappeared and returned to Earth.
