Urjanagar is situated at a distance of 10 km from Chandrapur, Maharashtra, India. It is basically a residential colony for the employees of Chandrapur Super Thermal Power Station opereted by Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MSPGCL). It has population of approx. 10,000. The colony has two high-schools providing education up to 10th std,one in Marathi medium and other in English.
