Uri is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 170 km northwest of Cagliari and about 12 km southwest of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,040 and an area of 56.7 km².[1]

Uri borders the following municipalities: Alghero, Ittiri, Olmedo, Putifigari, Sassari, Usini.
