[edit] Prize or Award?

Wouldn't "award" be a better translation than "prize"? Is there an official translation? (And why the plural form?) 惑乱 分からん * \)/ (\ (< \) (2 /) /)/ * 12:28, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

I think award would be just as good, but the problem with awards from Sweden (or similarly Denmark, Norway, Germany etc, as Max & Moritz Prizes) in that the original word, pris is tempting to translate direct, even though the meaning is slightly changed, but still can be understood as "trophy". I see Howard E. Day Prize shows this happens with English language awards too.. Plural as there are several classes awarded at the event. One wouldn't want to go with The Swedish Comic Promotion Association Award -The Primordial Dog. There doesn't seem to be an official English page at their page..
