Urban Engineering applies the tools of Civil Engineering in an urban environment. Due, to the complex nature of interaction between built environment and the society a program like Urban Engineering, initiated by NED University, Karachi is a bold step in moving away from "conventional" and often out-dated cirriculam and engineering practices being carried out the cities of Pakistan.
