The Uranquinty Power Station is a 640MW gas-fired power station located in Uranquinty, New South Wales, Australia and is going to be the largest gas-fired power station in New South Wales which will be used during peak loads in New South Wales. Uranquinty Power Station is the fourth power station to be constructed by NewGen Power which is jointly owned by ERM Power and Babcock and Brown Power at a cost of $500 million dollars[1][2].
