This figure shows tenperature profiles in the stratosphere and thermosphere of Uranus. Approximate altitudes are also indicated.

The shaded area is the layer with a high hydrocarbon abundance.

The data of the blue curve are from Herbert et al.^[1]

The data of of the green curve are from ^[2]
