I removed the following text from the article:

It may actually be the oldest existing sports club of any kind in the world (according to a claim from 1917 in the Swedish encyclopedia Nordisk familjebok, vol 25).

If this club was founded in 1796, then it's definitely not the oldest sports club in the world: the Marylebone Cricket Club was founded in 1787. Loganberry (Talk) 19:15, 13 August 2005 (UTC)
