[edit] Men's Hockey

The hockey Panthers went through a rebuilding year in 2005-06, finishing 8-20 in their first year under head coach Dylan Taylor. The team started the year 1-14 before picking it up in the second half.

In 2006-07, Taylor's second season behind the bench, the team went 9-17-2, finishing seventh in the AUS and five points out of the playoffs. Taylor recruited five new players during the summer, including forwards Howie Martin, Vince Scott and Greg O'Brien, and defensemen Tomas Stryncl and Jason Malone.

The Panthers began 2007-08 with a record of 7-6-2 through 15 games, ranking fifth in the AUS. The team added former Ontario Hockey League star Justin Donati in December.
