Vaduthala Junction is very an old place in Arookutty in Alappuzha district in the state of Kerala, India, 50 km from the Kochi International Airport.
There were many shopping complexes, called vaduthala jama, a higher secondary school, the Vaduthala Central Masjid, a small village name Kattoor kottupurampally Jama at the Office, SBT Arookutty, Upasana 7 Upasana Complex and a Nadvathul Islam society which is located less than 1 km from the Vaduthala Junction.
[edit] About the Nadvathul Islam society
“Nadvathul Islam” (Regd) Vaduthala has been Registered under the Travancore – Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable societies Registration Act, XII of 1955 vide registration No. 11 / 1963, dated 28.05.1963. though the society has received registration on 1963 but it was started in 1938 itself with a small Mosque by Few God Fearing Muslim Social Workers in this locality.
We can imagine the long term vision of the founders of the society, is attitude towards the poor people in the village, how to help them, how to uplift the downtrodden etc. the founders of the society was a God fearing, social workers, loving hearted, bold and we can say they were an embodiment of human love.
The place has the Nadvathul Islam orphanage, the Nadvathul Islam U.P SCHOOL, the Nadvathul Islam English school & the Nadvathul Islam Madrasa. All administrated by the Nadvathul Islam society.
