Up! Close and Personal is a DVD released by singer Shania Twain. It is of the NBC special aired in November of 2003, in order to help promote Twain's album Up!. It is an "unplugged" concert featuring Alison Krauss and Union Station. Up! Close and Personal has been certified platinum by the RIAA for shipments of over 100 000 copies in the United States. Audio versions of several of the songs have been used as b-sides to some of the singles from Twain's Greatest Hits album. A bonus featurette was included on the DVD that features Twain and the band rehearsing and fan reaction to the show. Shania's Leather outfit, as well as the stage were modelled after Elvis Presley's '68 Comeback Special. The outfit Shania wore for this DVD special is now on display at the Shania Twain Centre in Shania's hometown of Timmins, Ontario.

During the original live broadcast, Shania had to stop the band during "Ain't No Particular Way" and ask them them to restart the song, after her forgetting the words. This was edited out of all future broadcasts and the DVD.[1]
