The correct title of this article is Untitled #1 (Spain song). The substitution or omission of a # sign is because of technical restrictions.

Untitled #1 is a song written by Josh Haden, and performed by Spain. It appears on their album The Blue Moods of Spain, released in 1995. Recorded in February 1995, the song is typically slow and melancholic. A video for "Untitled #1" was made [1], although it was never formally released as a single.

The song appears on the soundtracks to the 1997 film Winterschläfer, Phoenix[2], and Somewhere in the City[3] (both 1998), and it was included on several "best of the year" compilations in the year of its release. It is currently rated higher than any Spain track by users of the website last.fm.[2]

It is track 3 on Spain's 2003 compilation Spirituals: The Best of Spain - its radio edit was the first track of the 1995 limited-edition E.P. The Radio Edits of Spain.
