Unterseeboot 61

Unterseeboot 61 or U-61 has been the name of several German submarines or U-boats during the First World War and the Second World War.

  • Unterseeboot 61 (1916) was built in 1916 and operated in the First Battle of the Atlantic during the First World War before being sunk in 1918.
    • During the First World War, Germany also operated two other U-boats with similar designations:
      • Unterseeboot B-61 was built in 1917 and sunk in 1917.
      • Unterseeboot C-61 was built in 1916 and scuttled in 1917.
