U-434 Type VIIC was a German Kriegsmarine U-boat.


U-434 was sunk on 18 December 1941 in the North Atlantic north of Madeira, Portugal, in position 36.15N, 15.48W. It was forced to the surface by depth charges from the British escort destroyer HMS Blankney and the British destroyer HMS Stanley. There were 2 dead and 42 survivors.
