Unterseeboot 34

Unterseeboot 34 or U-34 has been the name of several German submarines or U-boats during the First World War, the Second World War and in the reunified navy, Deutsche Marine.

  • Unterseeboot 34 (1914) was built in 1914 and operated in the First Battle of the Atlantic during the First World War before being lost in 1918.
    • During the First World War, Germany also operated two other U-boats with similar designations:
      • Unterseeboot B-34 was built in 1916 and surrendered in 1918.
      • Unterseeboot C-34 was built in 1916 and scuttled in 1918.
  • Unterseeboot 34 (S183) is a Type 212 submarine of the Deutsche Marine, built in 2006, and still in service today.
