Unterseeboot 259 or U-259 was a German World War II Type VIIC submarine commissioned on 18 February 1942. U-259 served with 5. Unterseebootflottille (U-Boat Flotilla) for training and later served operationally with 3. Unterseebootflottille from 1 September 1942 to 15 November 1942. U-259 completed two patrols, but did not sink any ships.
