Unterkulm is a municipality in the district of Kulm in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.

In time of the cold war, a man from Unterkulm wanted to go to Moscow, in Unterkulm he asked at the Railway stop, for a ticket to Moscow - "Go to Aarau and ask there." so he did, and there he was redirected to Zürich, but in Zürich they told him to ask in Vienna, where they advised him to ask in Warsaw. ... And finally he bought 12 tickets to go there.
As he was about to go back, he went to the railway station of Moscow, and thought, he could do the hole game again. The officier asked him where he wants to go - "Warsaw". - "And no further?" - He told him, he'd like to go to Kulm in Switzerland - "Unter- or Oberkulm?"
