[edit] Maguire
The stuff you cut-n-pasted from Maguiresbridge to King Maguire was patent nonsense (unless I am missing something). If you see any more rubbish from 90.242.18.43, I suggest you request they be blocked by leaving a message at WP:AIV. -- RHaworth 12:15, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks - I've removed a couple of sections they've added on the Maguiresbridge page. Unknown Unknowns 09:37, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Alright
You sort of misformed the AfD when you made it, nothing major, happens to people on their first ones. Just give me a minute to do something else and I'll take a good look at it. Kwsn(Ni!) 12:53, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- I took at a look at it, and I must say, the second paragraph you had was a very good point. Also, for future reference, check out this section on how to list AfD's.

Hi, the recent edit you made to Denim has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. - ✰ALLSTAR✰ echo 12:47, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
The word 'denim' is derived from the French phrase 'serge de Nimes' (please see the article). I assume you have no objections if I reinstate it in the 'French words and phases' category? Unknown Unknowns (talk) 12:52, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm quite sorry; not sure why I reverted that, probably got confused with another edit. · AndonicO Hail! 13:55, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] No kidding
Who are you suggesting doesn't know or hasn't read the denim article? - Denimadept (talk) 17:44, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] SAving private ryan
It's because they are notable in themselves - as someone had already told you They're notable pure and simple. If a soverign entity like the Republic of Ireland lends troops to participate in the filming of a movie that's notable. If members of a small hobby group get jobs as extras in a film that isn't. RI army doing something = notable, a few hobbists doing something = not. Unless Steve S said "I must have X involved in the film", then that would make them notable. --Fredrick day (talk) 12:23, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

- Thanks for bring the page to my attention - looking at it, they don't seem notable to me - I'll AFD it a bit later, I expect it will be then be deleted - good job spotting that. I'd do it now but I'm setting up a new PC and don't have the concentration for it. --Fredrick day (talk) 13:00, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

- So you removed a link from 'Saving Private Ryan' to another Wikipedia page without even reading it? How do you justify your administrator status? Unknown Unknowns (talk) 13:26, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
