[edit] Description
Unknown appears to be a tortured soul which has been enslaved by the "Forest Demon" (which takes the form of a wolf-like appearance and appears behind her in fights, controlling and mimicking her actions). Unknown also has a symbol tattooed on her upper right arm which resembles that of Jin Kazama's, and can use different fighting styles, though her fighting style defaults to that of Jun Kazama. Some say she is the dead version of Jun Kazama, considering she appears in the movie with Ogre, or Toshin, when he is ready to kill Jin Kazama. And since Ogre supposedly killed Jun Kazama, it is probably the truth.
Unknown appears as a woman with short, black hair and glowing yellow eyes. Her default 'costume' appears to have her otherwise nude body mostly covered in black, shiny body paint or oil, as if she had been submerged in it to her chest. Her second, alternate costume shows her dressed in the burnt, ripped remains of a white dress, with bandages wrapped around her arms, shins and instep. This second outfit may be speculated as the same clothing Jun Kazama is seen wearing in her official artwork for Tekken Tag Tournament, lending more weight to the assumption that she and Unknown are one and the same.
[edit] Gameplay
During gameplay, when playing against her, Unknown has the ability to regenerate her health since she doesn't have a tag team partner, and she can also insert "un-regenable" health into the player's energy bar (dark-red shade that does not regenerate when character is resting, or tagged out). In addition, once her health has been depleted, her regenerable health must also be depleted to defeat her. When she is fought in other modes, her health depletes normally like other characters. Unknown can change her fighting styles, much like Mokujin/Tetsujin and Combot, although neither of these three characters could change styles during the fight, whereas Unknown can; when a human player is playing as Unknown, this is accomplished with the press of the R3 button. However, unlike Mokujin and Tetsujin, Unknown cannot mimic all fighters. The larger fighters, such as the Jack robots, Kuma, Panda, and Ganryu, are not available to her. Also, if Unknown is given Kazuya Mishima's fighting style and Devil as her partner she will transform into Devil instead of tagging him.
[edit] History and Ending
In Unknown's ending, she is able to break free from the mind control spell that was placed upon her. When she gains her normal consciousness, she begins to breathe heavily and wonders where she is. The Wolf Demon creeps up from behind and tries to nail her across the head, allowing it to consume her easily. Unknown, however, senses its presence, and dodges the attack and retaliates with a jab of her own. This causes her arm to get stuck in its stomach. The Wolf Demon then places its hands over her face and consumes her, thus finally reaching its complete form (it was missing legs and feet, in which Unknown now supplied). However, the Wolf Demon begins to growl in agony, since Unknown begins to destroy the demon from within. Unknown manages to rip out of its body, thus gaining her consciousness and freedom from its control. After ripping out of the Demon's body, Unknown gets up off of the ground and smiles. Interestingly, this is the only ending in Tekken Tag Tournament to be shown as a fully pre-rendered sequence. All other endings simply feature the standard character models.
Unknown also appears in Ogre's Tekken Tag Tournament ending. In this ending, Ogre has defeated Jin Kazama, and he is about to consume Jin's soul. However, Jin is saved by the appearance of Unknown, and it is implied Ogre and Unknown then fight each other. She is seen without the Wolf Demon, implying that this ending happens after she defeats the Wolf Demon in her own ending.
