Differences in national income equality around the world as measured by the national Gini coefficient. The Gini coefficient is a number between 0 and 1, where 0 corresponds with perfect equality (where everyone has the same income) and 1 corresponds with perfect inequality (where one person has all the income, and everyone else has zero income). Countries in red tones have societies with more income inequality than those in green tones.

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Middle-East.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Middle-East.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:22, 1 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. WjBscribe 17:22, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

The middle east is actually rich in wealth and oil, but however some parts are not very rich.

Thanks for uploading Image:Jeddah - Saudi Arabia.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

[edit] A few comments

Hey, thanks for your interest in improving the articles on Wikipedia. I have two little tips that might help make you a better Wikipedian. :-) When editing, use the Preview button to review your edits before saving them. This helps keep the article's history easy to read, and makes it easy for other editors to see what you're doing. Also, before adding an image to Wikipedia, make sure that it meets the image use policy. Generally, it's good practice not to add any images unless it's your own photograph or drawing. And if you do add an image, make sure to fully document the image so that other people can understand where it was taken, why, and what sort of license the image uses. Happy editing. :-) --NormanEinstein 13:10, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Photos

Look boss , whenever you want to upload an image , make sure you own the Copyrights of that image , because if you don't have the rights , wikipedia adminstrators would delete it later .

if you don't have a copyright of an image , just forget about it , or take your Digicam ( or Camera phone ) to that place and take a picture by your self , then upload it on Wikimedia Commons. and choose the copyright (Self Made) , then release it into public domain ( write on the summary that "i'm the owner of the image release it into public domain") , take a look for this example

.

and dont forget your signiture ( write ~~~~ after any discussion you do). Ammar (Talk - Don't Talk) 14:48, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hello Unites

Saudi Arabia's PPP GDP per capita - in CIA list - is 13,600. The list in the article is based on CIA list. Eliko 10:10, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hello again

  • 1. The list in the right side (of the article) - is the CIA list.
  • 2. The CIA list puts Saudi Arabia with 13,600 PPP GDP per capita, and Mauritus with 13,700 PPP GDP per capita.
  • 3. If you think Saudi Arabia's PPP GDP per capita is 13,800 - you must give a source link (as I've given a link for CIA list). Once you find out a source link for your new figure - you'll be able to construct a third table (besides the IMF list and CIA list). No one will then delete your third table.

[edit] Commercial use of Image:Jeddah Lights.jpg

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Jeddah Lights.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Jeddah Lights.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Jeddah Lights.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. [edit] 3RR notice

Please do not keep undoing other people's edits without discussing them first. This is considered impolite and unproductive. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you.

[edit] AfD nomination of Richest cities by 2020

I've nominated Richest cities by 2020, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Richest cities by 2020 satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Richest cities by 2020 and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). Thank you. Hux 20:08, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

(This is a reprint of my response to the question you asked on my talk page.) Hi. Firstly, you should know that I do not have the power to delete articles - I simply nominated one of them for deletion (the 2020 one; someone else nominated the other one). The proper place for you to make your case for keeping them is at their respective deletion pages (here and here). Secondly, I appreciate that you've spent a not inconsiderable amount of time working on them, but that in itself cannot have any bearing on whether or not an article should be kept, especially when copyright issues are in play.
Regarding your request for help on how to edit them in order to avoid deletion, ordinarily I would be happy to do so, but in the case of these two articles I don't really see any way that you can avoid it given that the basis for deletion is copyright infringement (for both) and speculation (for the latter), both of which are strictly forbidden on Wikipedia.
The only thing I can really suggest is that you take a look at WP:NOT and WP:PG to get an idea of the kinds of things that are appropriate for articles and wish you better luck next time. Sorry I can't do more than that. -- Hux 20:17, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
