The University of Wah was established in 2005 by amalgamating two institutions.[2] It is Pakistan's largest private university.[3]
The University teaches courses in four faculties: Engineering, Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences. Programs of study include:
- Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics and Computer)
- Sciences (Biological Science, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Business Administration and Mathematics)
- Humanities (English Literature, Education, Islamic Studies, Pakistan Studies)
- Social Sciences (Economics, Sociology and Psychology).[4]
