From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The University of Saskatchewan Alumni Association[1] (U of S Alumni Association) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization that works in partnership with University Advancement [2] at the University of Saskatchewan [3] to strengthen the bond between alumni and the University.
Since its inception in 1917, the University of Saskatchewan Alumni Association has grown to include more than 120,000 alumni living worldwide. Graduates have gone on to become, among other things, Rhodes scholars, Nobel prize winners, prime ministers, CEOs, entrepreneurs, scholars, researchers, sports celebrities, doctors, lawyers, judges, teachers, nurses, and actors. Each year, approximately 3,500 new graduates join the Alumni Association.
The University of Saskatchewan Alumni Association is closely associated with the University of Saskatchewan. University Advancement, the administration responsible for alumni [4], development [5], and communications [6], manages and provides the services for the Alumni Association. By coordinating all the alumni activities and maintaining address information [7], University Advancement supports the activities of the Alumni Association.
