The University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance is an undergraduate and graduate institution for the performing arts in the United States. It is part of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. The School of Music, Theatre & Dance is headed by Christopher Kendall, dean. Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity was founded at the School of Music on June 12, 1903. Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity's Epsilon Chapter was formed at the School of Music in 1902.

The School is located on the University of Michigan's North Campus, which is also home to the College of Engineering, the School of Information, and the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning.

The school was named "School of Music", until July 1, 2006, when it was changed to "School of Music, Theatre & Dance". [1]
