The University of Isfahan[1] is the largest university in Isfahan Province in Iran.
It is a state operated university, and was established in 1946. It trains over 14,000 students.
It offers undergraduate degrees in 70 fields and graduate degrees in 55 areas.
It is located in the southern section of the city of Isfahan. Isfahan University is located in Azadi square of Isfahan, in the middle of the city. It has engineering fields, like computer software and hardware (both up to Ph.D.) electrical engineering, chemistry and construction building.
Isfahan University is the site of a large uranium conversion facility.[2]
