University of Health Sciences

The University of Health Sciences is located in Lahore the capital of the Punjab province of Pakistan[1].

UHS started as a model medical university in 2002, with the aim to revitalize medical education and its standards in Punjab. Currently all government medical colleges and private medical colleges in Punjab are affiliated with it, except King Edward Medical University and Fatima Jinnah Medical College.

[edit] Courses offered

In addition to supervising undergraduate medical education, UHS is involved in the supervision of many higher degrees such as MD and PhD.
