- President - Dylan Davies
- Union Secretary - Ray Joyce

The Trustees committee are responsible for the smooth running of the Student Union. They also represent students at meetings and committees across the university, as well as providing welfare and education advice on a one to one basis. In recent years it has been increasily common for people that play sports to be the winners of their elections, which has resulted in people becoming elected for perhaps the wrong reasons. Never-the-less, the elections are run in a democratically and free way, and is seen as more publicity vote.
The Union Constitution states that the following Non-Sabbatical Officer posts shall exist, although these are not always filled:
- Non-Sabbatical Officer for Course Representatives - Vacant
- Non-Sabbatical Officer for Students with Disabilities - Vacant
- Non-Sabbatical Officer for Glyntaff Campus - Richard Main
- Non-Sabbatical Officer for International Students - Paul Almit
- Non-Sabbatical Officer for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Students (LGBT) - Scott
- Non-Sabbatical Officer for Methyr Tydfil Campus* - Vacant
- Non-Sabbatical Officer for Racial Equality* - Vacant
The Other Elected Officers are as follows:
- Rag Chairman
- Leek Editor
- Assistant Leek Editors (x2)
