University of Florida College of Medicine is an accredited medical school located in Gainesville, Florida, USA. The school was officially founded in 1956 and grants the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree to its graduates. The college is considered one of the top medical schools in the United States as indicated by rankings in US News and World Report.

The college was officially founded in 1956. The mission to increase Florida's supply of highly qualified physicians, provide advanced health-care services to Florida residents, and foster discovery in health research

U.S. News and World Report ranks the college of Medicine at No. 48 in the U.S. in research. In addition the College of Medicine was ranked at 45 in primary care.
