University of Delaware Mens Lacrosse

The University of Delaware Men's lacrosse is one of the top college programs in the country. Ranked 15th in the country heading into the 2007 NCAA tournament, the team won seven games in a row, the CAA tournament, then advanced to the semi-finals of the NCAAs beating #2 seed Virginia in the process before losing to Johns Hopkins 8 to 3. This was the lacrosse team's initial semi-final appearance. Bob Shillinglaw has coached the team for over 30 years and is only the second man to coach 500 lacrosse games. John Grant Jr. is arguably considered the world's best lacrosse player. Anthony DiMarzo is 14th all-time in Division I career scoring.
