The University of Cincinnati Department of Chemistry is the chemistry department of the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Founded in 1874, the department awarded its first bachelor of science and master of science degrees in 1880. In 1905, it awarded its first Ph.D.
It is a Carnegie Foundation-designated Doctoral/Research-Extensive institution.
