[edit] Introduction

The School of Management provides undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees in management, including MBA (Master of Business Administration) courses; as well as non-degree courses for business executives, welcoming around 1,500 practising managers on shorter courses each year from corporations such as Emirates airlines, RBS and Ciba Specialtiy Chemicals.

The School is closely involved with its home city. Bradford's ethnic diversity and need for economic regeneration are issues it is addressing through widening access to courses and through outreach to the local business community.

In addition to welcoming international students to Bradford, the School has an extensive range of programmes around the world, running programmes in Europe (with our associate institution NIMBAS in the Netherlands and Germany), the Middle East, China, India and Singapore. Some 2,000 students are registered for various awards on overseas programmes.

Around 80 students graduate from the full-time MBA each year, and 25 from the part-time MBA. The School also offers part-time Executive MBA courses for around 50 students per year. As well as a Masters degree in Finance, TQM, international management, accounting, HRM.

Almost half the academic staff are from outside Britain or have non-UK qualifications. In addition, more than 30 nations are represented at the Bradford campus.

Over 60% of students, and over 50% of faculty, come from outside the UK. Taking the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) test is required for entry to the MBA programme; the average GMAT score of successful applicants is 585.

Fees for the full-time MBA are approximately £18,000 (GBP) (not including living expenses); many students are either sponsored by their employers or take advantage of various scholarship and bank loan schemes.
