University of Balochistan

University of Balochistan was established in 1974 at Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan. It has more than 6,000 students and one campus, 35 different fields of studies and 5 faculties.
Safdar Kiyani, the university's Pro-Vice-Chancellor, was assassinated on April 22, 2008, in Quetta.[1] The Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for his murder.[1] The University was closed for one day to mourn Kiyani's killing.[1]
