University College is the school of professional and continuing studies of the University of Denver, and is a leader in providing professional, practice-based education that is both relevant and responsive to the needs of working adults. University College delivers graduate certificates and master’s degrees, in online and on campus formats, addressing some of today’s most important professional areas. The mission of University College is to provide access to education at the University of Denver through courses that explore engaging and timely subjects, employ convenient formats, and are offered at affordable cost. Drawing on the expertise and workplace experience of thoughtfully selected faculty, and using evening, weekend, and online formats for accelerating learning, University College provides its diverse community of students with graduate degree programs, certificates, and customized workplace education to promote professional advancement, as well as credit and non-credit courses of general interest for continuing personal growth and development.

The University of Denver (DU), founded in 1864 is the oldest private university in the Rocky Mountain Region. The University of Denver is a coeducational, four-year university in Denver, Colorado. DU currently enrolls approximately 11,117 students, about equally divided between graduate and undergraduate programs. The 125-acre main campus is a designated arboretum and is located primarily in the University Neighborhood,[1] about seven miles (11 km) south of downtown Denver.
