The University City–Big Bend St. Louis MetroLink station, opened on August 26, 2006, serves the western portion of the Washington University main campus, Fontbonne University, the southern part of the Delmar Loop, and area residents. Located at the intersection of Big Bend Boulevard and Forest Park Parkway, this below-grade station primarily serves passengers arriving on foot or via a MetroBus Connection.
