University Katolik Parahyangan (abbr.: UNPAR) or Parahyangan Catholic University, is a private university in Bandung, Indonesia.

On January 17, 1955, two bishops: Mgr. P.M. Arntz, O.S.C (the bishop of Bandung) and Mgr. Prof. Dr. N.J.C. Geise O.F.M (the bishop of Bogor) founded a school in Bandung with the official name of Parahyangan School of Commerce. In 1958, under the president of Prof Dr. Mgr. Geise O.F.M, the school was renamed into Parahyangan Catholic University and added a new Faculty of Law. The first school became the Faculty of Economy.

The school expanded into another two faculties, namely the Faculty of Engineering(1960) and the Faculty of Social and Political Science (1961). Within the same year, the government of Indonesia granted the university with an equal accreditation level with state university. New faculties were added, including the Faculty of Philosophy (1983), Faculty of Industry and Technology and Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science (1993).

There are currently seven faculties in the university:

  • Faculty of Economic with 3 majors: Business, Accounting and Economy.
  • Faculty of Engineering with 2 majors: Architecture and Civil.
  • Faculty of Social and Political Science with 3 majors: Social Politics, State Administration and Business Administration.
  • Faculty of Law
  • Faculty of Philosophy
  • Faculty of Industry and Technology with 2 majors: Industrial and Chemical Engineering
  • Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science with 3 majors: Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics
