Universidad Adventista del Plata
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Universidad Adventista del Plata (UAP) is a Seventh-day Adventist university in Libertador San Martin, Entre Ríos, Argentina that was founded in 1898. It acquired official University status in 1990 and in 1994 the well known medical school was founded.
It is a medium sized university of a few thousand students. Since the Argentine economic crisis (1999-2002) the number of foreign students has increased dramatically due to the devaluation of the Argentine peso, making UAP one of the most culturally diverse universities in Argentina.
