From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
New Mexico is one of the only three states who swung between 2000 and 2004. Although Bill Richardson, the Democratic governor, is very popular, the state, who voted for Al Gore by 300 votes in 2000, chose George W. Bush in 2004, by 6,000 votes.
