The United States Senate election of 1976 in Massachusetts was held on November 2, 1976 with the incumbent Democratic Senator Ted Kennedy defeating his challengers.

• Senator Ted Kennedy - incumbent Senator elected in 1962 and reelected in 1964 and 1970. Subsequently ran for president in 1980, and was reelected in 1982, 1988, 1994, 2000, and 2006.

• Carol Henderson Evans. In 1977 ran for Cambridge City Council.
