United States Kick-Boxing Association

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The United States Kick-Boxing Association (USKBA) is a sanctioning body for sport karate and kickboxing throughout the world. The organization comprises championship divisions at World, US, National, State, and Regional Champions, each having both Men's and Women's Divisions. Prior to the success of mixed martial arts and full contact karate fights that have continued to grow since the mid 1990's, there was another kickboxing organization that existed from the late 1970's until 1992 called National Kickboxing. It was based out of the north-eastern United States and organized events were held all over the country and Canada.
