The U.S. House election, 1816 was an election for the United States House of Representatives in 1816.

By 1816, the Federalist Party was in decline. Democratic-Republican support was very high. The huge gains for Democratic-Republicans helped to usher in what is known as the Era of Good Feelings under President James Monroe.
