From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The U.S. House election, 1814 was an election for the United States House of Representatives in 1814.
Despite the continuation of the War of 1812, America's boosted morale, due to an ability to hang with the powerful British forces, halted Federalist gains. The Democratic-Republicans slighly increased their majority instead.
