From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The United States Hockey Hall of Fame is a museum located in Eveleth, Minnesota. It showcases the history of the sport of ice hockey in the United States, housing a collection of exhibits and memorabilia relating to the history of hockey in America. Individuals selected by USA Hockey are recognized and enshrined in the hall on a yearly basis.
It was announced in May 2006 that due to low attendance, the hall would shut down and reopen in a new location. After discussing the possibility of moving the hall to the Twin Cities, it was announced in 2007 that the hall would re-open and remain in Eveleth.
