United Nations Security Council Resolution 1700

United Nations Security Council Resolution 1700 is a resolution that extends the mandate of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) for another period of 12 months. This mandate was created by Resolution 1500 and has since been renewed by Resolutions 1557 (2004) and 1619 (2005).
It was adopted unanimously by the United Nations Security Council on 10 August 2006.
